Nintendo Direct September 9, 2026
Nintendo had their latest direct earlier today and in my opinion it was quite a doozy. There were a whole slew of brand new games as well as some previously revealed. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 40th Anniversary Trailer
The Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Direct was earlier today and covered a lot of cool stuff to celebrate the series. From concerts to ocarinas there was a bunch of neat things revealed. Of course, one of the biggest was the first real look at the upcoming Ocarina of Time remake, which you can see in the trailer above, and the release date, November 5th. In the full Direct they show off much more so you should watch that too.

Two Nintendo Directs Next Week
Heads up, Nintendo is bringing us not one, but TWO Directs next week. The first on September 8th at 7am PT for The Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary and the second on September 9th as a standard Nintendo Direct. That one will also be at 7am PT. They will be thirty and forty-five minutes long respectively.

Terranigma Rebirth Trailer
I can't believe that it's finally happening. Terranigma, a game from the SNES era that only launched in Europe and Japan back in the 90s is finally getting a release in the US. Coming sometime next year, it will launch on PS4/5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 1/2, and PC. There's no other info yet aside that it's coming from Clear River Games. TMNT: Splintered Fate - The King's Gambit Launch Trailer
Super Evil Megacorp has launched their newest update to TMNT: Splintered Fate and it finally concludes the game's story. Best of all? It's free. Separately, there is paid DLC available released alongside it that adds Slash to the game. I can't speak for everywhere, but the Platinum edition of the game, which bundles all the DLC together, is on sale on the Nintendo eShop in the US.

Marvel Cosmic Invasion: The Siege of Castle Doom DLC
If you're looking for something more in Marvel Cosmic Invasion, good news, a new DLC focusing on Dr. Doom is coming this fall for all platforms. Like Tribute Games' post says, two new characters and a new game mode will be coming alongside it. Conveniently timed for The Avengers: Doomsday launching this December in theaters of course.

Kingdom Hearts Anime Coming Soon
At D23, Disney has announced that an anime based on the Kingdom Hearts video game series is coming to the Disney Channel and Disney+. The show is being developed with the assistance of Tetsuya Nomura and the creative team at Square Enix. It's being billed as a brand-new story to expand the universe although no mention of where in the game timeline it fits has been revealed yet.
