After running for about a year, Square Enix's take on the battle royale will be shutting down on January 11th. Final Fantasy VII The First Soldier originally released on November 17th, 2021 as a mobile only title. Personally, I had enjoyed the title and had always hoped that they would port it to PC/console, but it looks like that won't be happening now.
