Over at halowaypoint.com, Joseph Staten has posted a blog update detailing some of what to expect when Season 2 launches on May 2nd. They've got teases of the free armor core and the theme of the pass, Lone Wolves, which is all well and good, but tucked away in there is the announcement that co-op is not launching when Season 2 drops. He states that it's still coming during Season 2, just a little later. Below you'll see the tease for the free armor core.
Also coming in the update are new maps and modes. Catalyst and Breaker are the new maps to expect while Last Spartan Standing, Land Grab, and King of the Hill are the new modes that'll be available in playlists. You can read the whole update from Staten here.
