The contents of the chest from yesterday's post have been revealed as the brand-new Ghost type Pokémon, Gimmighoul. Gimmighoul comes in two forms, a Chest Form and a Roaming Form. Currently, Roaming Form Gimmighoul will follow you for a time in Pokémon GO if you spin a special yellow Pokéstop, although you can't catch it quite yet. The video above details the history of the Pokémon where it describes Chest Form Gimmighoul as immobile and its ability to control people to collect coins for it. Roaming Gimmighoul, as the name implies, is always on the move and is supposedly uncatchable in Paldea. In the official images below you can see both forms of Gimmighoul as it appears in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
