Today, Nintendo announced that it is buying up the remaining shares of Dynamo Pictures and making them their subsidiary for producing visual content. In short, they bought up an animation company. According to Dynamo Pictures' website, they've worked on a range of projects such as the PIKMIN Short Movies to doing the motion capture for Monster Hunter World. With their work ranging from CG to MoCap they're definitely bringing a wide range of skills to Nintendo and it'll be interesting to see how they use it. The acquisition is expected to be completed by October 3rd. You can see their official press release here.
