Back in March, Nintendo disabled online play for Splatoon and Mario Kart 8 on Wii U to address a vulnerability. They haven't given all the details as to what it was or what specifically it did, but it's now been fixed. So if you've been itching for some online matches for the Wii U Splatoon and Mario Kart 8, have at it.
