It was on this day twenty-three years ago that Pokémon Gold & Silver versions released on the Game Boy Color for the US. This release added 100 new Pokémon, a day/night real time feature, and two regions to explore: Johto and Kanto. Not to mention Pokémon eggs and shiny Pokémon.
